Tushar Puranik

Tushar Puranik is a Managing Director with Deloitte Consulting LLP. He is a technology leader in banking and financial services industry focusing on the intersection of technology and finance. Over last 25 years he has worked with financial institutions extensively across Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.

He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in Electrical Engineering and did his Masters in Business Administration in Global Business Management jointly from NYU Stern, HEC Paris and London School of Economics.

Tushar routinely advises the c-suite in Financial Services. He works with a network of start-ups and emerging companies that operate at the intersection of finance and technology (Fintechs). His areas of interest and engagement have involved a range of topics including sustainability, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, IoT, digital, robotics, etc. He is eminent in the industry having spoken at several conferences and corporate events on topics involving the role of technology in the future of money. He has engaged with multiple federal and state government agencies in their initiatives around technology modernization.

Tushar is passionate about the human impact of technology and deeply interested in applying technology for human welfare and fulfillment of human needs and aspirations. He believes that a collaborative approach between the industry, government, non-profit and education sectors can create meaningful and lasting impact.
